Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Udeo on the web, as a Home Screen app and in the App Store and Play Store. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Udeo.

Udeo is for students at Nigerian universities. You must be at least 13 years old, give us accurate information (including your university and year of study) and keep your sign-in details safe. One account per person; usernames are unique and can't be transferred.

You own what you post — text, photos, videos, voice notes and documents. You give Udeo permission to store and show that content to other students so the app can work. You are responsible for what you post.

You may not post:

• Anything illegal under Nigerian law.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats or bullying of other students.
• Someone else's private information or photos without their consent.
• Spam, scams, or impersonation of another person or university.
• Sexually explicit content involving anyone under 18 — reported to the authorities.

Students can report any post, message, event or profile. Reports go to a moderation queue reviewed within 24 hours. We may remove content, and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms. Blocking another student hides them from your feed and stops them messaging you.

Campus teams and students can create events. Paid tickets are processed by Paystack; Udeo does not store your card details. Refunds for cancelled events are the responsibility of the event organiser — contact them first, then us if you get no response.

School ID verification is optional. ID images are used only to confirm you're a student of that university and are deleted from our systems after review.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile — this permanently removes your profile, posts, comments, chats and uploads. We can suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, with notice where the law allows.

Udeo is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Udeo is not liable for losses caused by content other students post or by events organised through the app.
